At Lutherdale, adventure has never been
just about getting to the top.
It's about what happens along the way.
It's the nervous laugh before someone leaves the ground. The encouragement from a friend. The staff member who says, “I've got you. Climb On” The moment you realize you're stronger than you thought.
Adventure gives us opportunities to discover something new about ourselves, and about one another.
Our current tower and high ropes course has served Lutherdale for more than 25 years.
Now we're ready to build something that more people can access and enjoy.
We’re raising $300,000 to replace Lutherdale’s aging high ropes course with a
new, more accessible adventure experience.
Climb On! will create more opportunities for campers, retreat participants, congregations, and guests to experience challenge, accomplishment, adventure, and community.
EVERYONE DESERVES A TURN.
For decades, Lutherdale has worked to create a place where people of all abilities can fully participate in Christian community.
For nearly 40 years, TEAM USA, a program for adults with disabilities, has gathered at Lutherdale. We also partner with organizations including Camp Odayin, Camp Oasis, and Burn Camp, along with other ministries serving people with disabilities and medical needs.
Climb On! builds on this legacy of inclusion by creating new opportunities for people with different physical abilities to challenge themselves, participate alongside their peers, and experience the joy of accomplishment and belonging.
