Take the LEAP and join this amazing program! This Leadership Exploration and Adventure Program is a 2-week commitment and a great opportunity for campers to receive  behind-the-scenes training and experience what it means to serve on a summer staff.  During the first week, campers will be taught age group characteristics and group leading skills. This program runs along side our High School week, so Leapers don't miss out on any of the fun that High School week has to offer. During the second week, campers will live with a cabin group, and shadow a seasoned Cabin Leader, while serving as a role model for younger campers.

LEAP campers will build leadership skills, work with children, grow in self-confidence, and strengthen their faith while living in an intentional Christian community.
LEAP campers will depart from camp as strong, faithful leaders, equipped to serve within their school, church, and community.

 

Important Details

LEAP Campers are unable to stay at camp during the weekend between Week 1 & Week 2.  Please plan accordingly.

Week 1 (June 18 - 23) LEAP campers will check in (Sunday 2-4 pm) and and conclude their first week with Friday Closing Worship (1 pm ) followed by Departure (2 pm). 

Week 2  (June 25 - June 30, July 11-14, OR July 30-August 4) LEAP campers will check in Sunday at Noon.  Campers should eat lunch prior to arriving at camp.  LEAP campers will depart camp Friday at 4 pm.

Online registration for the LEAP program opens January 10, 2023.
Space is limited.

 

• Registration for LEAP includes additional application questions to be filled out by the camper (not the guardian). 

• Campers will be asked to provide contact information for 2 character references; these references should not be family members.

• A member of the Lutherdale Program Team will contact the references prior to the start of the program and after March 31. 

• Campers will be notified of acceptance into program by April 30.
