Lutherdale has recently been blessed with a $25,000 gift to our Share the Adventure campaign from a generous and faithful donor. This wonderful donation brings our total pledged to $2.8 million – 98% of our $2.9 million Phase 1 goal. Thank you to everyone who continues to be a part of this campaign – together we are opening the next generation of ministry at Lutherdale.

Work on the construction of Lutherdale Lodge continues at a rapid pace. The SIPs panels have been fully installed, along with a ‘Topping Out’ ceremony. The practice of ‘Topping Out’ is a builder’s rite traditionally held when the last beam or its equivalent (SIPs panels) are placed atop a structure during construction.

The Mission Builders have worked hand-in-hand with many faithful volunteers this summer to place floor beams, raise walls, trusses, Glulam Beams, and the gigantic SIPs panels. They continue to work on installing trusses in advance of roofing, prepping walls for gable trusses, and preparation for the modular housing units to arrive in September. Sub-contractors continue to work on electrical, plumbing, and concrete work. Construction of the building will continue through the fall.
