Lutherdale is excited to partner with the ELCA Youth Ministry Network to offer a chance to gather safely to participate in the 2021 Extravaganza!

We understand that the health and safety of our participants are the most important consideration in attending any events these days. Lutherdale has in place many protocols, which we used for summer camp in 2020, with the guidance of the American Camp Association and the local and state health departments. These include enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures, physical distancing protocols, and following local and state guidelines on mask-wearing. All guest will be asked to complete a COVID-19 Liability Waiver and Lutherdale staff will check the temperatures of all guests as they arrive.

Extravaganza Schedule

Join us at Lutherdale for some much-needed connection and community. Single rooms are available in our newest building, the HOPE Conference Center. A commuting option is also available for those that would be more comfortable sleeping in their own bed. During break times, enjoy physically distanced conversation or outdoor conversations with other Youth Ministry Professionals. Supplemental sessions led by Lutherdale staff, or optional winter recreation around the beautiful 52-acre Lutherdale Campus.

Mainstage and Worships will be streamed in HOPE Conference Center Grand Hall. Seating will be physically distanced. Participants may choose to join or stream in their individual rooms. Learning Options will be streamed as individuals.
Participants will need to register for the Extravaganza individually to participate in Learning Options. 

HOPE Conference Center – $225 per perso
Includes: 1-night lodging, 4 meals, and program cost

Commuter Option – $50 Per Person
Includes: 3 meals and program cost

Come Early or Stay Late

Enjoy an additional night of sabbath and fun at Lutherdale. Participants can choose to arrive on Thursday or stay on Saturday or Sunday night. Lutherdale is conveniently located 15 mins from Lake Geneva WI which offers multiple dining and entertainment options. 
Addition Nights Lodging – $75 per room per night

Bring the Family

For those not participating in the Extravaganza, Lutherdale is your playground. Come stay and play at camp and enjoy time as a family. 
Non-Participant Registration $50 per person           Youth 3 and under – Free

COVID-19 Protocols

  • Following State and local guidelines regarding masks and face coverings.
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of cabin spaces and common areas.
  • Maintaining physical distance from other groups on campus.
  • Lutherdale will conduct daily temperature screenings while groups are on campus.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting communal spaces daily.
  • Lutherdale staff will carry disinfectant with them to be used before and after guests use a camp area or equipment.
  • Directing all guests to wash hands and use hand sanitizer before entering the Dining Hall.
  • Assigning tables for groups to use during their retreat and strongly encouraging outdoor seating when the weather allows.
  • All meals will be single-serve and individually packaged.
