What is in store for me at Family/Grand camp?

Sunday

You will arrive between 2 P.M. and 4 P.M. on to check in. You will have to go to four tables before you can move into the Retreat Center:

  1. The money table where you will turn in any money you want to use in the canteen and settle any balances
  2. The meds table where you will talk to the nurse about any needs you may have or when you take meds
  3. The lice table where you will have your head checked for lice
  4. The cabin leader table where you will find out who will be your leader for the week

You will get to move into the Retreat Center and meet the other family campers who will be there with you. Then everyone will meet in the chapel for song learning and camp guidelines before dinner.

After dinner you will gather with all of the family campers and meet and greet and play games and that will be your village. In your village you will create a name and cheer/song for your village and then you will be with this group for activities and to lead one worship for the entire camp!

We will close the first day with a worship and then you will head back to the Retreat Center and close the day with a devotion.
