Made by Gladys McGilsky, Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Racine, Wisconsin.Third place: W211 A269 Sold for $500 AUTUMN BRAID. Made by Kelly Barnhart and Our Savior's Lutheran Church Quilters, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Lutherdale's 23rd Quilt Fest and Auction was a great success with 286 quilts donated and sold. Beautiful fall weather brought 400+ people on Friday and Saturday to preview and purchase beautiful quilts, wall hangings, and art pieces, in addition to crafts, odds 'n ends, homemade breads, cookies, pies, apple cider pressed on site, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, cream puffs, silent auction theme baskets, and so much more. Thank you to the hundreds of volunteers, quilters, donors, bidders, buyers, Lutherdale staff, and many supporting businesses and organizations that helped make this event a success.
